You Are Not Special!

As a human, we like to think that we are special. Everyday, mass media and social media have showed us two extreme side. The best and the worst. The TV always showed us the worst news everyday. Rape, killing, corruption and so on. And the other side we have showed Instagram artist which is so beautiful and crazy rich. We never heard about random guy or average man who do ordinary stuff. We have been dictated to be special or worst all the time if want to get attention.
And almost all of us want to be special. Some of us do the best at our work to get recognition. The others make a trouble just to get eye look from parent.
Desire to be recognized make some of us workaholics. We want to please the manager by come early and go home late. We work super hard and forget another life.
We forget that if we get sick or die, the company easily find another employee. Because the specialties that you have is not really special. Thousand people out there have the same skill. The feel of being special is just on your mind. The truth is you just ordinary guy with ordinary skill.
Your friends at work probably will mourn you. But after a week, they will find a new friend and forget about you. Your death won't have any significant impact on them.
But, when you're gone, there are one group of people who really miss you. Your family. They are the most effected from your death. They will always pray for you.
So rather that being workaholics cause you want attention, it's better for us to work just because it is our responsibility. Do your best at what you do because it's your job. Enjoy your job because you need happiness in where ever you are. Enjoy it so you still have positive energy when you come home.
You need to make sure that you creat your happiness. Don't depend your happiness by other's people recognition. Because everyone just care about them self. And you MUST care about your self!
